Feeding/Swallowing

Therapy

We evaluate and treat children with a variety of feeding and swallowing difficulties.

​

Children with feeding or swallowing difficulties may demonstrate one or more of the following symptoms:
 

  • Coughs, chokes, or gags when eating and/or drinking

  • Has problems chewing food

  • Has problems breathing while eating

  • Has difficulty gaining or maintaining weight

  • Refuses to eat or drink

  • Spits up or throws up often

  • Takes a long time to get through a meal or snack

Skilled feeding therapy may be appropriate to support your child overcome these and other difficulties. Our goal is to increase health and safety through functional feeding skills.
